Sorry about that. I found the problem, and I'll be uploading a fix in a few minutes.
I don't know if you changed this in later updates, but I can only catch the pink slime when doing the enslaving route (Sorry I don't remember your actual name for it). Can you let owners of the beast hunter's shop open earlier or raise the level of the slime?
If you press Enter, you can open the main menu. From there, you can disable monster fleeing.

It might be a bug or it might be because I'm continuing the game from prior version data but when I talk to the monster quest girl after completing the new quest she seems to run through both dialogue options when you get to accept or decline her invitation.
